It's been a while since I had any new titles to boast about. But now there's been a happy change

My dragon book - 'The Red Red Dragon' to be exact -  has been bought by the excellent children's publisher, Walker Books, who seem very keen on it.  They intend to bring it out in November, in time for 'the Christmas sales'.  They sent me examples of the format: hardback, lavishly illustrated, something to be proud of and excited about.

True, we must wait another six months.  'We'?  Yes.  I and my son Gillon, who, not content with living with me in my old age and looking after my everyday needs, has turned out to be an excellent collaborator, just when failing sight is making it hard for me to do my own rewrites.  We have another two books lined up.  So, like our dragons, we're all fired up, and it's onward and upward!
